Went on a hike in an animal sanctuary this weekend. Learned more than I needed to know about trees and poop.

Seriously. I think if the Native Americans wanted to, they could have totally wiped us out before we decided to wipe them out.

Not really. The Europeans brought the three deadliest things on the planet with them: Guns, Germs, and Steel. Hey, I think that would make a great title for a book...
Also, the Native American populations were decimated by a plague just a few short years before the European arrival. The remaining Natives were only about 10% or their peak numbers.
